Workshop on Employment and Career Development for the Newly Arrived Afghan Refugees

On Saturday, 27 August 2022 Edmund Rice Centre for Justice and Community Education (ERCJ) organized a workshop on employment and career development for the newly arrived Afghan refugees. This workshop was delivered in partnership with Openpages.

The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize the participants with the working culture in Australia, how to find a job in their own profession and how to use their expertise, experience, and knowledge in Australia.

 

 

The participants will be provided mentorship as well. Each person will be connected to a mentor who can support them to navigate through employment process and re-establishing their careers.
