Australian Pasifika Climate Leadership Program (Western Sydney) - August to December 2020

Are you a member of the Pacific community living in Western Sydney? Do you wish to play a role in:

• alerting your community to the climate risks facing Western Sydney and the Pacific Islands?
• promoting climate action?
• strengthening the calls for action coming from the Pacific?

Interested members of the Pacific Island community living in Western Sydney are invited to apply for this capacity-building experience involving an online learning course from mid August to 12 October 2020, followed by implementing a climate advocacy project of your choice from October to December 2020. You will be mentored throughout this process. As an emerging leader you will develop the relevant skills and knowledge needed to play a role in building climate awareness and action in Pacific Island communities, as well as the broader Western Sydney community.

Applications for enrolment in this program close on 3 August 2020. Participation in the course is free and there will be a small participation allowance.
