Join us on 5 April 2025 at the Sunnybank Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane, for an inspiring discussion on the role of international development and social justice in creating a safer, more equitable world.​

Organised by the Public Engagement and Campaigns Committee (PECC) of ACFID and Micah Australia, this event will bring together thought leaders, advocates, and community members to explore how policy, funding, and partnerships can drive positive global change.​

Guest Speaker: Our Director Alopi Latukefu, will share insights on strengthening civil society engagement, international cooperation, and inclusive development to address the world’s most pressing challenges.​

At the Edmund Rice Centre, we are dedicated to promoting human rights, social justice, and eco-justice through research, community education, advocacy, and networking. Our focus areas include supporting Indigenous Peoples and Reconciliation, Refugees and Asylum Seekers, and addressing the impacts of climate change, especially on our Pacific neighbours.
