ERC Director Phil Glendenning delivered the 2019 Annual Tasmanian Peace Trust Lecture. The Trust established the Annual Peace Trust Lecture in 1991. Special guest lecturers speak on peace-related themes.

The Edmund Rice Centre, in partnership with the Iraqi Australian University Graduates Forum, is organising the Iraq Now Panel Discussion to reflect on the current human rights situation in Iraq. The discussion will focus on Iraq’s current security situation, human rights challenges, minority issues, political instability, refugee rights and returnee difficulties.

It forces each of us to articulate our deepest values. Today we are invited by the gospel to join with Merton and ask ourselves what and for whom we live? What do we long for?
