Kingsford Smith Afternoon Tea

You are invited to an Afternoon Tea to meet the candidates for the seat of Kingsford Smith in the upcoming federal election and to voice your support for our Pacific neighbours and Australia’s role in supporting development and climate justice in the region.

The Afternoon Tea will include perspectives from young people from Pacific Island communities about how climate change is already affecting them, as well as opportunities to meet candidates in the Kingsford Smith electorate* to emphasise our role as neighbours.

Guest speakers will include young people from Kiribati, Tuvalu and Sydney. We have invited candidates Matt Thistlethwaite MP, Michael Feneley - Liberal Candidate for Kingsford Smith, James McDonald, Shawn Arbeau and Andrea Leong and will invite other candidates as they are announced.

The event is organised by the Pacific Calling Partnership, Caritas Australia, the Edmund Rice Centre, Micah Australia and UnitingWorld.
